Exposure times between brackets mean lower priority.

  • Airmass plot of P1 SNe.
  • Airmass plot of P2 and P3 SNe.

  • If photometric: Observe at least 3-4 Persson Standards in YJHK spanning airmasses roughly in the range 1.0 < X < 2.5.
    You may refer to the IR Standard Stars list and plates.

  • IMPORTANT: Please use the coordinates from this table to point the telescope (AND NOT THE COORDINATES FROM THE YELLOW TABLE). The SN might end up close to the edge of the frame but this is not a problem.
    Check that the exposure times above don't produce saturation of the SN, and that some comparison stars are safe.

    (*) Strategy: For each filter, do a sequence ON target using the listed macro, then repeat the sequence OFF target by moving the telescope by the indicated amount (please check that no extended object ends up in the frame). To save time, use Loop=1 for all OFF target exposures, and when you change filter, start a sequence at the same position where you took the last one (either object or sky).
    Set Readmode = Quadruple for Y and J, and Readmode = Double for H and K.
